व्याध उवाच
That the truly liberated reality (the self in its highest sense) is eternal—beginningless and endless—self-existent, imperishable, incomparable, and formless; realizing this supports detachment from mere bodily identity and steadiness in dharma.
In the Vyādha’s instruction (a dharma-teaching episode within Vana Parva), he cites authoritative doctrine about the nature of the liberated being, using it to guide the listener toward ethical clarity grounded in spiritual insight.
