एवं सन्‍्तो वर्तमानास्त्वेधन्ते शाश्वती: समा: । अहिंसा सत्यवचनमानृशंस्यमथार्जवम्‌

Transliteration

evaṁ santaḥ pravartamānās tv edhante śāśvatīḥ samāḥ | ahiṁsā satyavacanaṁ mānṛśaṁsyam athārjavam ||

Translation

ಈ ರೀತಿ ಸಂತರಾಗಿ ವರ್ತಿಸುವವರು ಶಾಶ್ವತ ವರ್ಷಗಳವರೆಗೆ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಲೇ ಇರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅಹಿಂಸೆ, ಸತ್ಯವಚನ, ಅನೃಶಂಸ್ಯ (ಕ್ರೂರತೆಯ ಅಭಾವ/ಕರುಣೆ) ಮತ್ತು ಆರ್ಜವ (ಸರಳ ನೇರತೆ)—ಇವೇ ಅಂಥ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತವೆ।
