अध्याय १९० — वामदेव-वाम्य-वृत्तान्तः
The Vāmadeva Horses Episode and the Ethics of Promise
आखयातस्ते मया चात्मा दुर्जेयो हि सुरासुरै:,ब्रह्मर्ष! इस प्रकार मैंने तुम्हें अपने स्वरूपका उपदेश किया है, जिसका जानना देवता और असुरोंके लिये भी कठिन है। जबतक महातपस्वी भगवान् ब्रह्माका जागरण न हो, तबतक तुम श्रद्धा और विश्वासपूर्वक सुखसे विचरते रहो
ākhyātaste mayā cātmā durjeyo hi surāsuraiḥ, brahmarṣe |
ದೇವನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ನಿಜಸ್ವರೂಪವನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಅದು ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗೂ ಅಸುರರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿಯಲು ಕಷ್ಟ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಓ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮರ್ಷಿಯೇ, ಮಹಾತಪಸ್ವಿಯಾದ ಭಗವಾನ್ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನು ಜಾಗೃತನಾಗುವವರೆಗೆ, ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸದಿಂದ ನೆಲೆಸಿ ಸುಖವಾಗಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸು.
