Nārāyaṇopadeśa to Mārkaṇḍeya (Cosmic Self-Identification and Yuga Doctrine) | नारायणोपदेशः
यस्मिन्नग्निमुखा देवा: सेन्द्रा: सहमरुद्गणा: । ईजिरे क्रतुभि: श्रे्ठस्तत् पदं परमं मम
yasminn agnimukhā devāḥ sendrāḥ sahamarudgaṇāḥ | ījire kratubhiḥ śreṣṭhais tat padaṃ paramaṃ mama ||
ಅಗ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಖವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ಇಂದ್ರಸಹಿತ ದೇವರುಗಳು ಮರುದ್ಗಣಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಕ್ರತುಗಳಿಂದ ಯಜಿಸಿದ ಆ ಪದವೇ ನನ್ನ ಪರಮ ಪದ.
ताक्ष्य उवाच
The verse links spiritual supremacy to a locus sanctified by exemplary yajña: the ‘highest abode’ is defined not by power but by association with righteous, well-performed sacrificial worship where Agni mediates offerings to the gods.
Takṣya identifies and glorifies his own supreme dwelling-place by describing it as the site where Indra, the Maruts, and the other gods once conducted the finest sacrifices, emphasizing its sanctity and divine recognition.
