नभस: प्रच्युता धारास्तिग्मवीर्या: सहस्रश: | आवृण्वन् सर्वतो व्योम दिशश्वोपदिशस्तथा,आकाशसे प्रचण्ड शक्तिशालिनी सहस्रों धाराएँ बरसने लगीं, जिन्होंने न केवल आकाशको ही, अपितु सम्पूर्ण दिशाओं और उपदिशाओंको भी सब ओरसे ढक लिया
nabhasaḥ pracyutā dhārās tigmavīryāḥ sahasraśaḥ | āvṛṇvan sarvato vyoma diśaś copadiśas tathā ||
ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣ ಶಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಧಾರೆಗಳು ಸುರಿಯತೊಡಗಿದವು; ಅವು ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಎಲ್ಲ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಉಪದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಹ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟವು.
