विक्षिपन् नादयंश्वापि धनु: श्रेष्ठ महाबल: । तूणखड्गधर: शूरो बद्धगोधाड्गुलित्रवान्
vikṣipan nādayaṁśvāpi dhanuḥ śreṣṭha mahābalaḥ | tūṇa-khaḍga-dharaḥ śūro baddha-godhā-aṅgulitravān
ಆ ಮಹಾಬಲಶಾಲಿ ಶೂರನು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಧನುರ್ಧರನಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಧನುಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಟಂಕಾರ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ತೂಣೀರ ಮತ್ತು ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ, ಗೋಧಾ-ಚರ್ಮದಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಅಂಗುಳಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಸಂಯಮಿತ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಯಿಂದ ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಗಿದನು.
