अयं च शंखप्रवरो येन जेतासि दानवान् | अनेन विजिता लोका: शक्रेणापि महात्मना,“यह श्रेष्ठ शंख है, जिसे बजानेसे तुम्हें दानवोंपर विजय प्राप्त हो सकती है। महामना इन्द्रने भी इसके द्वारा सम्पूर्ण लोकोंपर विजय पायी है'
ayaṃ ca śaṅkhapravaro yena jetāsi dānavān | anena vijitā lokāḥ śakreṇāpi mahātmanā |
ಮತ್ತೆ ಇದು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಶಂಖ; ಇದನ್ನು ಊದಿದರೆ ನೀನು ದಾನವರನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸುವೆ. ಇದೇ ಶಂಖದಿಂದ ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ಶಕ್ರ (ಇಂದ್ರ) ಕೂಡ ಲೋಕಗಳನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸಿದನೆಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
