श्रूयते बहुधा भीम सर्वभूतमनोहर: । महागज्जामुदीक्षस्व पुण्यां देवनदीं शुभाम्‌

Transliteration

śrūyate bahudhā bhīma sarvabhūtamanoharaḥ | mahāgajjāmudīkṣasva puṇyāṃ devanadīṃ śubhām ||

Translation

ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಓ ಭೀಮಾ! ಈ ನದಿ ಸರ್ವಭೂತಗಳ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಆನಂದಗೊಳಿಸುವುದೆಂದು ಅದರ ಕೀರ್ತಿ ಅನೇಕ ವಿಧವಾಗಿ ಕೇಳಿಬರುತ್ತದೆ. ಮಹಾಗಜದಂತೆ ಗರ್ಜಿಸುತ್ತ ಹರಿಯುವ ಈ ಶುಭ, ಪುಣ್ಯಮಯ ದೇವನದಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡು.
