Kuberasaras-darśana (Bhīma beholds Kubera’s guarded lotus-lake) / कुबेरसरः-दर्शनम्

वार्ताधर्मे ह्ुवर्तिन्यो विनश्येयुरिमा: प्रजा: । सुप्रवृत्तैस्त्रिभिह तिर्धर्म सूयन्ति वै प्रजा:,यदि यह प्रजा वार्ता-धर्म (कृषि, गोरक्षा और वाणिज्य) में प्रवृत्त न हो तो नष्ट हो जायगी। इन तीनोंकी सम्यक प्रवृत्ति होनेसे प्रजा धर्मका सम्पादन करती है

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

vārtādharme hy avartinyo vinaśyeyur imāḥ prajāḥ |

supravṛttais tribhir hi tair dharmaṃ sūyanti vai prajāḥ ||

ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಈ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳು ವಾರ್ತಾ-ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ (ಕೃಷಿ, ಗೋ-ರಕ್ಷಣೆ, ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ) ತೊಡಗದೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ ನಾಶವಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಮೂರನ್ನೂ ಸಮ್ಯಕ್‌ವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಿದರೆ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳು ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು (ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ಧರ್ಮಾಚರಣೆ) ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಧರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
