देवदानवगन्धर्वयक्षराक्षसपन्नगा: । नासन् कृतयुगे तात तदा न क्रयविक्रय:,तात! कृतयुगमें देवता, दानव, गन्धर्व, यक्ष, राक्षस और नाग नहीं थे, अर्थात् ये परस्पर भेद-भाव नहीं रखते थे। उस समय क्रय-विक्रयका व्यवहार भी नहीं था
devadānavagandharvayakṣarākṣasapannagāḥ | nāsan kṛtayuge tāta tadā na krayavikrayaḥ ||
ತಾತ, ಕೃತಯುಗದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರು, ದಾನವರು, ಗಂಧರ್ವರು, ಯಕ್ಷರು, ರಾಕ್ಷಸರು, ನಾಗರು ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಭೇದಗಳಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಪರಸ್ಪರ ವಿಭಜನೆಯೂ ವೈರವೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಖರೀದಿ-ಮಾರಾಟದ ವ್ಯವಹಾರವೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
