स मया गच्छता मार्गे विनिकीर्णो भयावह: । वने महति दुष्टात्मा दृष्टो भीमबलाद्धत:,मैंने महान् वनमें जाते और आते समय रास्तेमें मरकर गिरे हुए उस भयानक एवं दुष्टात्मा राक्षषके शवको अपनी आँखों देखा था, जो भीमसेनके बलसे मारा गया था
sa mayā gacchatā mārge vinikīrṇo bhayāvahaḥ | vane mahati duṣṭātmā dṛṣṭo bhīmabalāddhataḥ ||
ನಾನು ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗಿ ಬರುವಾಗ, ಆ ಮಹಾವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಂಕರವಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದ ದುಷ್ಟಾತ್ಮ ರಾಕ್ಷಸನನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆ—ಅವನು ಭೀಮಸೇನನ ಬಲದಿಂದ ಹತನಾಗಿದ್ದನು।
