यावदागमनं महां तावत् त्वं प्रतिपालय । निवृत्ते मयि शैलेन्द्र ततो वर्धस्व कामत:,“जबतक मैं पुन: लौटकर न आऊँ तबतक मेरी प्रतीक्षा करते रहो। शैलराज! मेरे लौट आनेपर तुम पुनः इच्छानुसार बढ़ते रहना”
yāvad āgamanam mahāṃ tāvat tvaṃ pratipālaya | nivṛtte mayi śailendra tato vardhasva kāmataḥ ||
ನಾನು ಮರಳಿ ಬರುವವರೆಗೆ ನೀನು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಾ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರು. ಓ ಶೈಲೆಂದ್ರನೇ! ನಾನು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ನೀನು ಇಚ್ಛೆಯಂತೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಬೆಳೆಯು.
