भवन वारुणं पश्य यदेतत्‌ सर्वकाउ्चनम्‌ । यत्‌ प्राप्य सुरतां प्राप्ता: सुरा: सुरपते: सखे,महेन्द्रमित्र! देखो, यह वरुणदेवताका भवन है, जो सब ओरसे सुवर्णका ही बना हुआ है। यहाँ पहुँचकर ही देवगण वास्तवमें देवत्वलाभ करते हैं

bhavan vāruṇaṁ paśya yad etat sarva-kāñcanam | yat prāpya suratāṁ prāptāḥ surāḥ surapateḥ sakhe, mahendra-mitra |

ಓ ಮಹೇಂದ್ರಮಿತ್ರಾ! ನೋಡು, ಇದು ವರుణದೇವನ ಭವನ—ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಕಂಚನಮಯ. ಓ ದೇವಾಧಿಪತಿಯ ಸಖಾ, ಈ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಾಗಲೇ ದೇವರುಗಳು ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ದೇವತ್ವವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.
