अविदूरे तु कृष्णस्य कर्णदुर्योधनावुभौ

avidūre tu kṛṣṇasya karṇa-duryodhanāv ubhau

ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಕೃಷ್ಣನಿಂದ ಅಲ್ಪ ದೂರದಲ್ಲೇ ಕರ್ಣ ಮತ್ತು ದುರ್ಯೋಧನ ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದರು; ಸಂಘರ್ಷದ ನಿರ್ಣಾಯಕ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣನ ಸುತ್ತ ನಾಯಕರು ಸೇರಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವರ ಸನ್ನಿಹಿತ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿ ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ಅನುಭವವಾಯಿತು।
