Udyoga Parva Adhyāya 58 — Saṃjaya’s Audience and Kṛṣṇa’s Deterrent Counsel (संजय-प्रवेशः कृष्णवाक्यं च)
आवयोर्वचनात् सूत ज्येष्ठानप्यभिवादयन् । यवीयसश्व कुशल पश्चात् पृष्टवैवमुत्तरम्
āvayor vacanāt sūta jyeṣṭhān apy abhivādayan | yavīyasaś ca kuśalaṁ paścāt pṛṣṭvaivam uttaram ||
ವಾಯುದೇವನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಓ ಸೂತ, ನಮ್ಮಿಬ್ಬರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಮೊದಲು ವಯಸ್ಸು ಮತ್ತು ಗೌರವದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರಾದ ಹಿರಿಯರಿಗೆ ವಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸು; ನಂತರ ನಮ್ಮಿಗಿಂತ ಕಿರಿಯರ ಕ್ಷೇಮವನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸು. ಆಮೇಲೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಈ ಉತ್ತರವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸು।
