Dhṛtarāṣṭra–Duryodhana Dialogue on Peace and the Refusal of Compromise
प्रतीपमिव मे भाति युयुधानेन भारती । व्यस्ता सीमन्तिनी ग्रस्ता प्रमृष्टा दीर्घबाहुना
pratīpam iva me bhāti yuyudhānena bhāratī | vyastā sīmanta-nī grastā pramṛṣṭā dīrgha-bāhunā ||
ಯುಯುಧಾನ (ಸಾತ್ಯಕಿ) ಈ ಭಾರತಿ ಸೇನೆಯನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತೋರುವಂತೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ದಿಕ್ಕಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ—ಪುರುಷನಿಂದ ತಿರಸ್ಕೃತಳಾದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯಂತೆ, ಅವಳ ಕೂದಲಿನ ವಿಭಜನೆ ಅಸ್ತವ್ಯಸ್ತವಾಗಿ, ದೀರ್ಘಬಾಹುವಿನ ಹಿಡಿತಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿ ರೌದ್ರವಾಗಿ ನಲುಗಿದಂತೆ; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಈ ಸೇನೆ ಗೊಂದಲಗೊಂಡು ವಿರುದ್ಧ ದಿಕ್ಕಿಗೆ ಓಡುತ್ತಿರುವಂತೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತದೆ.
