सहदेवस्तु माद्रेय: शूर: संक्रन्दनो युधि । स्वमंशं कल्पयामास श्यालं ते सुबलात्मजम्
sahadevas tu mādreyaḥ śūraḥ saṃkrandano yudhi | svam aṃśaṃ kalpayāmāsa śyālaṃ te subalātmajam, mahārāja |
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಮಾದ್ರೇಯನಾದ ಶೂರ ಸಹದೇವನು, ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದ್ರಸಮಾನ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸುಬಲಪುತ್ರ ಶಕುನಿಯನ್ನೇ ತನ್ನ ನಿಶ್ಚಿತ ಪ್ರತಿದ್ವಂದ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿಗದಿಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
