उन्मत्तमिव चापि त्वां प्रहसन्तीह दुःखितम् | विलपन्तं बहुविधं भीत॑ परविकत्थने
unmattam iva cāpi tvāṁ prahasantiha duḥkhitam | vilapantaṁ bahuvidhaṁ bhītaṁ paravikatthane ||
ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅತಿಶಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುವ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಖಾಲಿ ಗರ್ವದ ಬಡಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ನೀನು ಉನ್ಮತ್ತನಂತೆ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀಯ. ದುಃಖಿತನಾಗಿ, ಭಯಭೀತನಾಗಿ ಅನೇಕ ವಿಧವಾಗಿ ಅಳಲು ತೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜರು ನಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
