Drupada’s Alarm and Inquiry Regarding Śikhaṇḍinī (द्रुपदस्य भय-विमर्शः)
शिखण्डिनि हते यक्षा: स्वं रूप॑ प्रतिपत्स्यते । स्थूणो यक्षो निरुद्वेगो भवत्विति महामना:
śikhaṇḍini hate yakṣāḥ svaṁ rūpaṁ pratipatsyate | sthūṇo yakṣo nirudvego bhavatv iti mahāmanāḥ ||
ಮಹಾಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಯಕ್ಷರಾಜನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—“ಶಿಖಂಡಿ ಹತನಾದಾಗ ಈ ಸ್ಥೂಣಾಕರ್ಣ ಯಕ್ಷನು ತನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವರೂಪವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಪಡೆಯುವನು; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸ್ಥೂಣ ಯಕ್ಷನು ಈಗ ಭಯವೂ ಚಿಂತೆಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರಲಿ.”
