Drupada’s Alarm and Inquiry Regarding Śikhaṇḍinī (द्रुपदस्य भय-विमर्शः)

स्त्रीलिड्रं धारयिष्यामि तदेवं पार्थिवात्मजे । सत्यं मे प्रतिजानीहि करिष्यामि प्रियं तव

strīliṅgaṃ dhārayiṣyāmi tadevaṃ pārthivātmaje | satyaṃ me pratijānīhi kariṣyāmi priyaṃ tava ||

ಹೇ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರಿಯೇ! ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ತ್ರೀತ್ವವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಮಾಡು—ಕಾರ್ಯ ಪೂರ್ಣವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಪುರುಷತ್ವವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಮರಳಿ ನೀಡುವೆ ಎಂದು; ಆಗ ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಪ್ರಿಯವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
