अम्बायाः तपोदीक्षा–रुद्रवर–आत्मदाहः
Amba’s Ascetic Vow, Rudra’s Boon, and Self-Immolation
ततस्ता राजशार्दूल धात्र्यो दाशार्णिकास्तदा । जम्मुरार्ति परां प्रेष्या: प्रेषयामासुरेव च,नृपश्रेष्ठ! यह सुनकर दशार्णदेशकी धायोंको बड़ा दुःख हुआ। उन्होंने यह समाचार सूचित करनेके लिये बहुत-सी दासियोंको दशार्णराजके यहाँ भेजा
tatas tā rājarṣabha dhātryo dāśārṇikās tadā | jamburārtim parāṁ preṣyāḥ preṣayāmāsur eva ca ||
ನೃಪಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನೇ! ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ದಶಾರ್ಣದ ಧಾತ್ರಿಯರು ತೀವ್ರ ದುಃಖದಿಂದ ಕಂಗೆಟ್ಟು, ಈ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಲು ಅನೇಕ ದಾಸಿಯರನ್ನು ದಶಾರ್ಣರಾಜನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.
