अथावताप्य पृथिवीं पूषा दिवससंक्षये । जगामास्तं सहस्रांशुस्ततो युद्धमुपारमत्
athāvatāpya pṛthivīṃ pūṣā divasa-saṃkṣaye | jagāmāstaṃ sahasrāṃśus tato yuddham upāramat |
ನಂತರ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ತಪಿಸಿ ಸಹಸ್ರಕಿರಣನಾದ ಪೂಷ (ಸೂರ್ಯ) ದಿನಾಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸ್ತನಾದನು; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯುದ್ಧ ನಿಂತಿತು.
