अम्बा–राम–भीष्म संवादः
Amba–Rama–Bhishma Dialogue on Vow and Refuge
ततः कृतस्वस्त्ययनो मात्रा च प्रतिनन्दित: । द्विजातीन् वाच्य पुण्याहं स्वस्ति चैव महाद्युते
tataḥ kṛtasvastyayano mātrā ca pratinanditaḥ | dvijātīn vācya puṇyāhaṃ svasti caiva mahādyute, yattuṃ sūtena śiṣṭena bahuśo dṛṣṭakarmaṇā |
ನಂತರ ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿವಾಚನಾದಿ ಮಂಗಳಕರ್ಮಗಳು ನೆರವೇರಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ತಾಯಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದಳು. ಬಳಿಕ ನಾನು ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರಿಂದ ‘ಪುಣ್ಯಾಹ’ ಮತ್ತು ‘ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿ’ ಉಚ್ಚಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಾಶೀರ್ವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದேன். ಓ ಮಹಾದ್ಯುತೇ! ಅನೇಕ ಬಾರಿ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿತನಾದ, ಶಿಷ್ಟನೂ ಸುಶಿಕ್ಷಿತನೂ ಆದ ಸಾರಥಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಹೊರಟೆನು.
