Amba–Rama–Bhishma Dialogue on Vow and Refuge
इति ब्रुवाणं तमहं राम परपुरंजयम् | प्रणम्य शिरसा राममेवमस्त्वित्यथाब्रुवम्,शत्रुओंकी नगरीपर विजय पानेवाले परशुरामजीको इस प्रकार कहते देख मैंने मस्तक झुकाकर उन्हें प्रणाम किया और “एवमस्तु” कहकर उनकी आज्ञा स्वीकार की
iti bruvāṇaṃ tam ahaṃ rāma parapuraṃjayam | praṇamya śirasā rāmam evam astv ity athābruvam ||
ಶತ್ರುನಗರಗಳನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸಿದ ರಾಮ (ಪರಶುರಾಮ) ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ, ನಾನು ಶಿರಸ್ಸು ಬಾಗಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಣಾಮ ಮಾಡಿ, “ಏವಮಸ್ತು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿದೆ.
