तमहं गीर्भिरिष्टाभि: पुन: पुनररिंदम | अयाचं भृगुशार्दूलं न चैव प्रशशाम सः

Transliteration

tam ahaṁ gīrbhir iṣṭābhiḥ punaḥ punar ariṁdama | ayācaṁ bhṛguśārdūlaṁ na caiva praśaśāma saḥ ||

Translation

ಹೇ ಶತ್ರುದಮನ! ನಾನು ಭೃಗುಶಾರ್ದೂಲನಾದ ಪರಶುರಾಮನನ್ನು ಮರುಮರು ಪ್ರೀತಿಕರ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಮನಕಾರಿ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡೆನು; ಆದರೂ ಅವರು ಕಿಂಚಿತ್ತೂ ಶಾಂತನಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
