अम्बा–राम–भीष्म संवादः
Amba–Rama–Bhishma Dialogue on Vow and Refuge
प्रत्याख्याता हि शाल्वेन त्वया5डनीतेति भारत । तस्मादिमां मन्नियोगात् प्रतिगृह्लीष्व भारत
pratyākhyātā hi śālvena tvayāḍanīteti bhārata | tasmād imāṃ manniyogāt pratigṛhlīṣva bhārata ||
ಓ ಭಾರತಾ! ‘ನೀನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಅಪಹರಿಸಿ ತಂದೆ’ ಎಂಬ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಲೇ ಶಾಲ್ವನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯಿಂದ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸು, ಓ ಭಾರತಾ।
