Educational Q&A

A ruler should act with fairness and restraint: offering the Pāṇḍavas their rightful share prevents adharma and needless war, and a true teacher must remain impartial between rival parties.

Vāyu addresses a warrior-king as ‘subduer of foes’ and urges him to settle the dispute by granting the Pāṇḍavas half the kingdom, emphasizing that his guidance as an ācārya is equally meant for both sides.
