Kuntī–Karṇa Saṃvāda: Lineage Disclosure and Appeal to Fraternal Dharma
इति कुन्ती विनिश्ित्य कार्यनिश्चयमुत्तमम् । कार्यार्थमभिनिश्चित्य ययौ भागीरथीं प्रति
iti kuntī viniścitya kāryaniścayam uttamam | kāryārtham abhiniścitya yayau bhāgīrathīṃ prati ||
ಹೀಗೆ ಕುಂತಿಯು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯದ ಕುರಿತು ದೃಢ ನಿರ್ಣಯ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಳು. ತನ್ನ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಸಾಧನೆಗಾಗಿ ನಿಶ್ಚಿತ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಬಂದು, ಭಾಗೀರಥೀ—ಗಂಗೆಯ—ದಿಕ್ಕಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟಳು.
