Udyoga Parva Adhyaya 133 — A Mother’s Counsel to Saṃjaya
स्वर्गद्वारोपमं राज्यमथवाप्यमृतोपमम् | युद्धमेकायनं मत्वा पतोल्मुक इवारिषु,युद्धको स्वर्गद्वारके सदृश उत्तम गति अथवा अमृतके सदृश राज्यकी प्राप्तिका एकमात्र मार्ग मानकर तू जलते हुए काठकी भाँति शत्रुओंपर टूट पड़
svargadvāropamaṃ rājyam athavāpy amṛtopamam | yuddham ekāyanaṃ matvā patolmuḳa ivāriṣu ||
ಯುದ್ಧವನ್ನು ಸ್ವರ್ಗದ್ವಾರೋಪಮವಾದ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಗತಿ—ಅಥವಾ ಅಮೃತೋಪಮವಾದ ರಾಜ್ಯಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಿ—ಗೆ ಏಕೈಕ ಮಾರ್ಗವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು, ಹೊತ್ತಿ ಉರಿಯುವ ದೀಪದಂಡದಂತೆ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಧಾವಿಸು।
