Adhyāya 128 — Proposal to Restrain Keśava; Sātyaki’s Warning and Vidura–Dhṛtarāṣṭra Counsel

दुर्योधनको गान्धारीकी फटकार भीष्मस्य तु पितुश्चैव मम चापचिति: कृता । भवेद्‌ द्रोणमुखानां च सुहृदां शाम्यता त्वया,“यदि तुम शान्त हो जाओगे तो तुम्हारे द्वारा भीष्मकी, पिताजीकी, मेरी तथा द्रोण आदि अन्य हितैषी सुहृदोंकी भी पूजा सम्पन्न हो जायगी

duryodhanako gāndhārīkī phaṭakāra bhīṣmasya tu pituś caiva mama cāpacitiḥ kṛtā | bhaved droṇamukhānāṃ ca suhṛdāṃ śāmyatā tvayā ||

ನೀನು ಶಾಂತನಾದರೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮೂಲಕ ಭೀಷ್ಮನಿಗೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಿಗೂ, ನನಗೂ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ದ್ರೋಣ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಇತರ ಹಿತೈಷಿ ಸೌಹೃದರಿಗೂ ಯಥೋಚಿತ ಗೌರವ ಪೂರ್ತಿಯಾಗುವುದು.
