Duryodhana’s Reply in the Kuru Assembly
यावन्न शातयत्याजी शिरांसि गजयोधिनाम् | गदया वीरघातिन्या फलानीव वनस्पते:
yāvan na śātayaty ājau śirāṃsi gajayodhinām | gadayā vīraghātinyā phalānīva vanaspateḥ ||
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಯುದ್ಧಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವೀರಘಾತಿನಿಯಾದ ಆ ಗದೆಯಿಂದ ಗಜಯೋಧರ ತಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮರದ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳಂತೆ ಒಡೆದು ಬೀಳಿಸದಿರುವ ತನಕ, (ಈ ಸಂಹಾರ) ಶಮನವಾಗಲಿ.
