नाहमेतत् करिष्यामि गच्छथ्वं वै सुरोत्तमा: । असिमिंश्षार्थे पुरा गीत॑ ब्रह्मणा श्रूयतामिदम्
nāham etat kariṣyāmi gacchathvaṃ vai surottamāḥ | asminn arthe purā gītaṃ brahmaṇā śrūyatām idam, viśeṣataḥ |
ಶಲ್ಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ನಾನು ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಓ ದೇವೋತ್ತಮರೇ, ನೀವು ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿರಿ. ಇದೇ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪುರಾತನಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನು ಹಾಡಿದ ಉಪದೇಶಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ.
