Divodāsa–Mādhavī Saṃvāda: Pratardana-janma and Kanyā-niryātana (दिवोदास–माधवी संवादः / प्रतर्दन-जननम् / कन्या-निर्यातनम्)
सो5हमेकमपत्यं वै जनयिष्यामि गालव । अस्यामेतं भवान् काम॑ सम्पादयतु मे वरम्
so ’ham ekam apatyaṃ vai janayiṣyāmi gālava | asyām etaṃ bhavān kāmaṃ sampādayatu me varam ||
ನಾರದನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— “ಆದುದರಿಂದ, ಓ ಗಾಲವ! ನಾನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಒಂದೇ ಸಂತಾನವನ್ನು ಜನಿಸುವೆನು. ಈ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಮೂಲಕ ನನ್ನ ಈ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸು—ಇದೇ ನನಗೆ ವರ.”
