उद्यतोडहं द्विजश्रेष्ठ तव दर्शयितुं दिश: । पृथिवीं चाखिलां ब्रह्मुंस्तस्मादारोह मां द्विज,द्विजश्रेष्ठ! मैं तुम्हें सम्पूर्ण पृथ्वी तथा समस्त दिशाओंका दर्शन करानेके लिये उद्यत हूँ; अतः तुम मेरी पीठपर बैठ जाओ

udyato 'haṃ dvijaśreṣṭha tava darśayituṃ diśaḥ | pṛthivīṃ cākhilāṃ brahman tasmād āroha māṃ dvija ||

ಓ ದ್ವಿಜಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನೇ! ನಿನಗೆ ಸಮಸ್ತ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ ತೋರಿಸಲು ನಾನು ಸಿದ್ಧನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಓ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಬೆನ್ನೇರಿಸು.
