गालवस्य विषादः तथा विष्णुप्रयाणम्
Gālava’s Despair and Resolve to Seek Viṣṇu
तपस्वी गालवके बहुत आग्रह करनेपर विश्वामित्रको कुछ क्रोध आ गया; अतः उन्होंने इस प्रकार कहा-- ।।
ekataḥ śyāmakarṇānāṃ hayānāṃ candravarcasām | aṣṭau śatāni me dehi gaccha gālava mā ciram ||
ಗಾಲವ! ಚಂದ್ರನಂತೆ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುವ, ಒಂದು ಕಿವಿ ಕಪ್ಪು ಬಣ್ಣದಿರುವ ಎಂಟುನೂರು ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡು. ಹೋಗು—ತಡ ಮಾಡಬೇಡ.
