नामानि चैषां वक्ष्यामि यथा प्राधान्यत: शृणु । मातले श्लाघ्यमेतद्धि कुलं विष्णुपरिग्रहम्,मातले! अब मैं इनके कुछ प्रधान व्यक्तियोंके नाम बताऊँगा, तुम श्रवण करो। इनका कुल भगवान् विष्णुका पार्षद होनेके कारण प्रशंसनीय है
nāmāni caiṣāṃ vakṣyāmi yathā prādhānyataḥ śṛṇu | mātale ślāghyam etad dhi kulaṃ viṣṇuparigraham ||
ಓ ಮಾತಲಿ! ಈಗ ನಾನು ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ—ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಕೇಳು. ಈ ಕುಲವು ಪ್ರಶಂಸನೀಯ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇದು ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಷ್ಣುವಿನ ಆಶ್ರಯ-ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಇದೆ.
