तथा ददर्श पाज्चालीं कमलोत्पलमालिनीम् | वपुषा स्वर्गमाक्रम्य तिष्ठन्तीमर्कवर्चसम्
tathā dadarśa pāñcālīṃ kamalotpalamālinīm | vapuṣā svargam ākramya tiṣṭhantīm arkavarcasaṃ ||
ನಂತರ ಕಮಲ-ಉತ್ಪಲಮಾಲೆಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕೃತಳಾದ ಪಾಂಚಾಲಿ ದ್ರೌಪದಿಯನ್ನು ಅವನು ಕಂಡನು; ಆಕೆ ತನ್ನ ದಿವ್ಯ ತೇಜಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಲೋಕವನ್ನೇ ಆವರಿಸಿ, ಸೂರ್ಯನಂತೆ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುತ್ತ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದಳು.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores karmic fruition and dharmic vindication: one who has endured hardship with steadfastness and integrity is ultimately honored, here symbolized by Draupadī’s sun-like radiance in Svarga.
In the Svargarohana episode, the narrator describes a vision of Draupadī in heaven—garlanded with lotuses, standing in divine brilliance that seems to pervade and outshine the celestial realm.
