इदं तृतीयं भ्रातृणामर्थ यत्‌ स्थातुमिच्छसि । विशुद्धोईसि महाभाग सुखी विगतकल्मष:

Transliteration

idaṁ tṛtīyaṁ bhrātṝṇām artha yat sthātum icchasi | viśuddho 'si mahābhāga sukhī vigata-kalmaṣaḥ ||

Translation

ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಇದು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೂರನೇ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ, ಸಹೋದರರ ಹಿತಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ. ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವಸೌಖ್ಯವನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸದೆ ಅವರಿಗಾಗಿ (ನರಕದಲ್ಲಾದರೂ) ಉಳಿಯಲು ನೀನು ಬಯಸಿದೆ; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಓ ಮಹಾಭಾಗ, ನೀನು ವಿಶುದ್ಧನೆಂದು ಸಾಬೀತಾಗಿದೆ. ನೀನು ಕಲ್ಮಷರಹಿತನು; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸುಖಿಯಾಗಿರು.
