Svargārohaṇa-parva Adhyāya 2 — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Inquiry for His Kin and the Vision of a Punitive Realm
स तीव्रगन्धसंतप्तो देवदूतमुवाच ह । गम्यतां तत्र येषां त्वं दूतस्तेषामुपान्तिकम्
sa tīvra-gandha-santapto deva-dūtam uvāca ha | gamyatāṃ tatra yeṣāṃ tvaṃ dūtas teṣām upāntikam |
ಅಸಹ್ಯ ದುರ್ಗಂಧದಿಂದ ಕಂಗೆಟ್ಟು ಅವನು ದೇವದೂತನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು—“ನೀನು ಯಾರ ದೂತನೋ ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗು. ನಾನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಿಲ್ಲುವೆ. ಈ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಾನದಿಂದ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಈ ದುಃಖಿತ ಸಹೋದರರು ಮತ್ತು ಬಂಧುಗಳು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವಾದರೂ ಸಾಂತ್ವನ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.”
