Book 12, Chapter 93 — Vāmadeva’s Counsel to King Vasumanā on Dharmic Kingship (धर्मप्रधान-राजधर्मोपदेशः)
एवं यो धर्मसंरम्भी धर्मार्थपरिचिन्तक: । अर्थान् समीक्ष्य भजते स ध्रुवं महदश्षुते
evaṁ yo dharma-saṁrambhī dharmārtha-paricintakaḥ | arthān samīkṣya bhajate sa dhruvaṁ mahad aśnute ||
ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ದೃಢನಿಷ್ಠನಾಗಿ, ಧರ್ಮ-ಅರ್ಥ ಎರಡನ್ನೂ ಚಿಂತಿಸುವವನಾಗಿ, ಸಾಧನಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವೇಕದಿಂದ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ ಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸುವವನು—ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಮಹತ್ತಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಥಿರ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
