वायुदेव उवाच अनायसं मुने शस्त्र मृदु विद्यामहं कथम् | येनैषामुद्धरे जिह्नलां परिमृज्यानुमृज्य च
vāyudeva uvāca | anāyasaṁ mune śastraṁ mṛdu vidyām ahaṁ katham | yenaiṣām uddhare jihvalāṁ parimṛjyānumṛjya ca |
ವಾಯುದೇವನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಓ ಮುನೇ! ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದಿಂದ ಮಾಡದ ಆ ಮೃದು, ಶ್ರಮರಹಿತ ಶಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಹೇಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಲಿ? ಯಾವ ಉಪಾಯದಿಂದ ಪರಿಮಾರ್ಜನ-ಅನುಮಾರ್ಜನ ಮಾಡಿ ಇವರ ನಾಲಿಗೆಗಳ (ವಕ್ರತೆಯನ್ನು) ಕಿತ್ತುಹಾಕಲಿ?
