भीष्म उवाच अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम् । संवादं वासुदेवस्य सुरषषेनरिदस्य च
bhīṣma uvāca | atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṁ purātanam | saṁvādaṁ vāsudevasya surarṣe nāradasya ca |
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಯುಧಿಷ್ಠಿರ! ಈ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು ಒಂದು ಪುರಾತನ ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ—ವಾಸುದೇವ (ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣ) ಮತ್ತು ದೇವರ್ಷಿ ನಾರದರ ಸಂವಾದವನ್ನು.
