Chapter 81: Trust, Allies, and the Qualifications of the King’s Artha-Secretary (अर्थसचिव)
इन्हें इनकी योग्यताके अनुरूप कर्मोमें पूरा अधिकार देकर लगा दिया जाय तो ये बड़े- बड़े कार्योंके साधनमें तत्पर हो राजाके लिये कल्याणकी वृद्धि कर सकते हैं ।।
ete karmāṇi kurvanti spardhamānā mithas sadā | anutiṣṭhanti caivārtham ācakṣāṇāḥ parasparam ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಇವರನ್ನು ಅವರವರ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಾಧಿಕಾರ ನೀಡಿ ನಿಯೋಜಿಸಿದರೆ, ಅವರು ಮಹತ್ತಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಸಿದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ತೊಡಗಿ ರಾಜನ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಬಲ್ಲರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಸದಾ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಒಬ್ಬರೊಡನೆ ಒಬ್ಬರು ಸಲಹೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ಧನ ಮತ್ತು ನೀತಿಯ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಸಾಧಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಸೇರಿ ಚಿಂತಿಸುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
