अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम्‌ । गीत॑ कैकेयराजेन ह्वियमाणेन रक्षसा

Transliteration

atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṃ purātanam | gītaṃ kaikeyarājena hriyamāṇena rakṣasā ||

Translation

ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪಂಡಿತರು ಒಂದು ಪುರಾತನ ಇತಿಹಾಸವನ್ನು ಉದಾಹರಣೆಯಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ—ರಾಕ್ಷಸನು ಅಪಹರಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯುವಾಗ ಕೈಕೇಯರಾಜನು ಉಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದ ವಚನಗಳು ಆ ಕಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿವೆ.
