राज्ञोऽभिषेकः, अराजकदोषः, दण्डधारणस्य आवश्यकता

Royal Consecration, the Fault of Kinglessness, and the Necessity of Enforcement

आत्मोपमस्तु भूतेषु यो वै भवति मानव: । न्यस्तदण्डो जितक्रोध: प्रेत्पेह लभते सुखम्‌

ātmopamas tu bhūteṣu yo vai bhavati mānavaḥ | nyastadaṇḍo jitakrodhaḥ pretyeha labhate sukham ||

ಯಾವ ಮಾನವನು ಎಲ್ಲ ಜೀವಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತನ್ನನ್ನೇ ಸಮಾನವಾಗಿ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಾನೋ, ದಂಡಿಸುವ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿ ಕ್ರೋಧವನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸುತ್ತಾನೋ, ಅವನು ಈ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಮರಣಾನಂತರ ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸುಖವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ।
