मनुना चैव राजेन्द्र गीतौ श्लोकौ महात्मना । धर्मेषु स्वेषु कौरव्य हृदि तौ कर्तुमहसि
bhīṣma uvāca | manunā caiva rājendra gītau ślokau mahātmanā | dharmeṣu sveṣu kauravya hṛdi tau kartum arhasi |
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರಾ! ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ಮನುವು ಸ್ವಧರ್ಮವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಎರಡು ಶ್ಲೋಕಗಳನ್ನು ಗಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಓ ಕೌರವ! ಆ ಎರಡನ್ನೂ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಧರಿಸು—ಧರ್ಮಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಅಂತರಂಗ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾಗಲಿ.
