Śānti Parva, Adhyāya 52 — Bhīṣma’s Humility Before Kṛṣṇa and the Granting of Boons

यच्च मामात्थ गाड़ेय बाणघातरुजं प्रति । गृहाणात्र वरं भीष्म मत्प्रसादकृतं प्रभो

yacca mām āttha gāḍeya bāṇaghātarujaṃ prati | gṛhāṇātra varaṃ bhīṣma matprasādakṛtaṃ prabho ||

ಗಾಡೇಯ ಭೀಷ್ಮಾ! ಪ್ರಭೋ! ಬಾಣಾಘಾತದಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ನೋವಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ನೀವು ಹೇಳಿದುದಕ್ಕೆ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಸಾದದಿಂದ ನೀಡಿದ ಈ ವರವನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ.
