वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights ethical decorum in speech: praise is offered with restraint and modesty, suggesting that virtue and rightful conduct earn public esteem, and that even admiration should be expressed in a dignified manner.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that a group of women, speaking gently and bashfully, begin to extol Yudhiṣṭhira and his brothers—Bhīma, Arjuna, and the son of Mādrī—marking a moment of acknowledgment and approval within the unfolding Shānti-parvan context.
