दानपात्रापात्र-निर्णयः / Determining Worthy Gifts, Recipients, and Permissible Food
घातयित्वा तमेवाजी छलेनाजिद्दायोधिनम् | उपसम्प्रष्टमहामि तमहं केन हेतुना,युधिष्ठिर बोले--मुने! मैं अपने भाई-बन्धुओंका यह महान् एवं रोमाञ्चकारी संहार करके सम्पूर्ण लोकोंका अपराधी बन गया हूँ। मैंने इस सम्पूर्ण भूमण्डलका विनाश किया है। भीष्मजी सरलतापूर्वक युद्ध करनेवाले थे तो भी मैंने युद्धमें उन्हें छलसे मरवा डाला। अब फिर उन्हींसे मैं अपनी शड़काओंको पूछूँ, क्या इसके योग्य मैं रह गया हूँ? अब मैं किस हेतुसे उन्हें मुँह दिखा सकता हूँ?

ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಜೇಯನಾದ ಆ ವೀರನನ್ನು ನಾನು ಛಲದಿಂದ ಕೊಲ್ಲಿಸಿದೆ; ಈಗ ಯಾವ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಲಿ? ಯಾವ ಮುಖದಿಂದ ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಲಿ?
