अहं स नागो विप्रर्षे यथा मां विन्दते भवान् | आज्ञापय यथा स्वैरं कि करोमि प्रियं तव
ahaṃ sa nāgo viprarṣe yathā māṃ vindate bhavān | ājñāpaya yathā svairaṃ kiṃ karomi priyaṃ tava brahmarṣe ||
ನಾಗನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಬ್ರಹ್ಮರ್ಷೇ! ನೀನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಆ ನಾಗನು ನಾನೇ. ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಗುರುತಿಸಿದ್ದೀಯೋ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯಂತೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸು—ನಿನ್ನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಿಯವಾದ ಯಾವ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ಮಾಡಲಿ?
